It’s our duty to do what we can. We can’t save everyone or everything, but we can do something and save as many as we can. Which is why when I found out NCWL saved more kittens (we were already busting at the seams with kittens), I felt the need to step up and offer my support/help. I have the space, while its not ideal, and I am busting at the seams myself, I couldn’t do nothing. I had to offer my last room available. Last night, I went and picked up 5 kittens who were saved from animal services. They are in quarantine right now to make sure they are healthy before bringing them into my current fosters area and with StellaBella. They will be cared for, loved, and adopted as soon as possible. They will all be going to the Pet Valu event on the 22nd. Hopefully I won’t come home with too many, but I am thankful and blessed to be supported by the hubs. He may not understand my craziness or my reasons, and he may give me shit every once in a while, but when I sneak a peek of him playing with the kittens, I know he gets it. I could not be more proud or loved. I have the life. A life full of animals and family who love me for me. We have our farm and our toys. Life is good on the farm.
Now its time to check on those rascals and make sure an explosion hasn’t happened somewhere.
